07.31.07 Hoo damn! 07.29.07 Shit, son! 07.20.07 What the fuck, Squidbunny Okay for general updates hit up squidbunnies proper; there's a few newsworthy items I guess. Now, regarding Hell's Corners.... First of all, I want you to see something:
Ignore my desktop; it's a mess. What I want you to notice, here, is the impenetrable wall of mostly unformatted text. It's all dialogue. Canto V dialogue. That's where I'm at with it; that's why I took a step back for the time being. Holy shit, amirite? Sick-house amounts of talking and I'm not even close to done writing it, let alone revising it and actually, like, figuring out panels, which is something I've recently decided is important to do ahead of time. Bottom line here, it's still on hiatus like I warned, but no, kids, I haven't abandoned it. I'm just not coming back to it until I'm prepared to mount a full-on frontal assault and turn the mother out. Really appreciate the ongoing support, though, in the face of me not really doing much of anything supportable. 05.07.07 Noodling on Technically there is a new page up but don't overexert yourself in all the excitement: A) it's not much of a page, and B) God knows when I'll get around to a second page. 04.20.07 Ghettochip Malfunction Currently without high-speed internet access and writing to you via 28.8 dialup. I'm crazy busy at the moment, but I wanted to give a speedy shoutout to another generous donor -- super speedy. 04.02.07 Hell's Corners is dead; long live Hell's Corners So here's where we're at: The site is mostly functional. The etc.. page, which is going to house all the miscellany like bios, fanart, related materials, etc., has yet to be fleshed out and I'm still having some issues with IE; namely, versions earlier than 7 are choking up and down on my PNG imagemaps; my old fix doesn't cover those and I'm having some issues integrating a new fix. I guess I'll keep doing HC. Things are looking quite a bit brighter in terms of support and as such I find myself wanting to continue even more. I just don't know how reliably I'll be able to update -- not that I've ever updated reliably since, like, Canto II -- with all the shit going down. Currently, I have to finish Dear Stabby, which is way overdue, and design and build a ginormous sign for a local storefront. At the end of May I'm going away for awhile, and in June I'm back to school. The car is also fucked up, but that's another story. Point is, it's gonna be tight, but I'll see what I can do if y'all can continue being patient with me and my crap. Meanwhile, enjoy the new site. I blame trying to make things work with IE, which is apparently still a bitch. Someone cheered me up immensely today with a financial vote of confidence, and even though it's so goddamn late I'm cross-eyed and this is therefore probably terrible I wanted to quick sketch some kind of thank-you. <3, FireSight.
