Two slightly different FutuRazputins for two slightly different potential storylines: the tentatively, lovingly named Psychonauts: Mentis Mater and Psychonauts: Will to Power.
Razputin: The Will to Power
He's a year or two older than the events in the game, a little stronger, a little more confident, and with a couple new tricks. He's improved his telekinesis power to be able to throw himself short distances, which effectively gives him high-jump powers, though actual flight is still a ways off. And he's in the process of learning from Ford how to teleport, though he hasn't got the hang of it yet.
Ever since the successful rescue of Truman Zanotto, head of the Psychonauts and father of his girlfriend Lili, Razputin has been an undeniable star Psychonaut ... but despite his impressive performance in that mission and every other he's been on since becoming an active agent, there are some who resent his success and chalk it up to his close ties to Ford Cruller and the Zanottos.
Razputin: Mentis Mater
As
a preternaturally young Psychonaut, Raz gets along with his fellow agents pretty
well but sometimes feels out-of-place, given his unusual childhood: with his
formative years spent in a traveling circus rather than in school, and having
graduated to full-fledged Psychonaut so early, Raz doesn't have many "peers,"
apart from his girlfriend Lili Zanotto. Sometimes he finds himself wondering
what it would be like to be a normal kid, and as it happens his next mission
will give him the chance to find out.
